After a relaxing morning at Saklikent Gorge - a gentle walk up the gorge for a bit, a ride on the rubber rings down the gorge in the refreshingly chilly water, and a Turkish pancake and tea, and then a visit to the facinating Tlos ruins - and a fresh orange juice, or an Efes, and perhaps white mulberries at the first cafe there - then head on to Yakapark. There are a couple of establishments with the same name, all good. The original is the second one you come to driving from Tlos, though both are worth a visit.

Trout fish swimming in bar channel at Yakapark Turkey

Traditional Turkish flatbread made fresh at YakaparkThe original Yakapark offers fantastically fresh trout, wonderful mezes, an all-inclusive buffet for about £10-12, and much much more. They make the traditional Turkish flatbread here by metre high stacks (worth looking for in the kitchens). Dine on platforms high in the trees, take tea and read a book, or sit by one of the streams below, wonderfully cool on those hot summer days.

Sit at the bar and stroke the trout swimming there. You can also have a fish pedicure, and if you're really brave, sit in the cold water pools - 5 minutes will get you a free drink, and surviving 15 minutes in the wet stuff will earn a dinner - it has been done (allegedly), but not by us! Very friendly staff, good service and fresh food at very reasonable prices.
